A warm welcome to the first CCA member from the financial sector
Bank Hofmann AG is the first member of IOF's Committee of Corporate Advisors (CCA) from the financial sector. Bank Hofmann represents a new area of expertise which significantly enhances the committee's advisory capacities. In addition to its membership in the CCA, Bank Hofmann has generously provided a grant for the publication of IOF's annual reports.

Support for Cultural and Social Projects
Osteoporosis is a serious yet under-recognized disease which affects millions of people, and particularly women, around the world. Through its membership in, and support of, the International Osteoporosis Foundation, Bank Hofmann is showing its commitment to an important international cause and a significant women's health issue. This is a new area of social involvement for the Bank that has in the past concentrated its sponsorship activities on the arts, chess and polo. Recently the Bank has been engaged in several ambitious photography and video art projects in Zurich, Winterthur and Berlin. It has also been involved in the sponsorship of major chess tournaments in Germany since 1991 and in Switzerland since 1996. The bank, which is involved in the annual world class polo touranments held in St Moritz is also the title sponsor of a high-profile Polo Open tournament in Zurich.
