The cups were decorated by celebrity women in an Israeli project to raise awareness about osteoporosis. Proceeds will be donated to the Israeli Foundation for Osteoporosis and bone diseases (IFOB).
The project was named FRAGILE, as a symbol of our bones' fragility. The cups are symbolic of bones’ fragility resulting from osteoporosis and bone disease.
Top female celebrities from theater, film, TV, sports, art and the fashion world took part in this important project, donating their talent to help raise awareness about osteoporosis. Each of these talented women decorated a cup, drawing her inspiration from her own vision and interpretation of osteoporosis, femininity and female power.
As strong and assertive women they aim to be role models for other women, bringing the subject of osteoporosis to public awareness. Their hope is to spread the message that every woman over the age of 50s should undergo a bone density test to diagnose, treat, and prevent osteoporosis.
The project was sponsored with an educational grant and generous support from MSD Israel.
