The IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre – located in the heart of the attractive and cosmopolitan city of Toronto. Over 5,000 osteoporosis specialists and allied health professionals are expected to attend the Congress which will provide a uniquely comprehensive overview of new developments in the field, ranging from basic and clinical research to advances in diagnosis and therapy.

Allied Health Professionals Day
on June 4, 2006

For the first time the Congress will include a special day-long session for allied health professionals, including nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

NEW: IOF announces new scientific award – the IOF Medal of Achievement.

The award will honor an individual scientist who has significantly advanced the field of osteoporosis through original and outstanding scientific contributions. Nomination forms are now being accepted.
